About TransportBuddy

TransportBuddy started as a personal project to manage routes and busy schedules. Today it helps drivers keep better records, plan recurring routes, manage packages, and export complete session data.

Track sessions with timestamps, drivers, vehicles, route settings, maps, photos, and export the full summary in HTML format.

Local-first storage

All session data, labels, route settings, drivers, vehicles, stops, maps, photos, and exports are kept only on the device. TransportBuddy does not send your app data to external servers.

Offline capability

The app is built to work offline. You can use it without an internet connection, and your local data remains on your device.

Firebase Analytics

TransportBuddy uses Firebase Analytics only for anonymous usage metrics. This helps improve the app but does not require user accounts or any personal login information.

Firebase may collect device and usage details in accordance with Google’s privacy policies. No personal data is shared with the developer from the app’s local content.

AdMob advertising

Ads are served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use standard mobile ad identifiers for ad delivery and measurement.

The developer does not receive personal profile data from AdMob beyond the normal ad reporting provided by the ad network.

Location data

TransportBuddy can track GPS location for session export and route details. This feature is optional and can be disabled in settings at any time.

No online storage

Nothing is stored online by TransportBuddy. Your data stays local unless you explicitly export or share session files yourself.

Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services only for analytics and ads. Your main app content and session history remain local.

Germany / EU compliance

TransportBuddy is developed from Germany with a privacy-first approach. It is designed to minimize data processing and respect local data protection best practices.
